Norwegian Butter Cookies!

Happy Saturday! Today is a crazy day for me, how about you? I have a fun festive weekend ahead of me! My sisters and I are hosting our 2nd annual Christmas party tonight! But everyone knows that when you have a holiday party, you have to have the right goodies! When it comes to having yummy treats, I'm always up to the task!  I tried something a little different but super tasty! I made Norwegian Butter Cookies! They came out so tasty and were incredibly easy to make.  It's something you can just whip up! I hope you enjoy these! See you in the next one!

If your Norwegian Butter Cookies are too dry, you try adding some of your favorite flavor of frosting, that will do the trick! I added my favorite cream cheese frosting!

| Makes: 22 Servings |
Ingredients: 
Instructions:
  • ½ cup butter, softened (I used salted)

  • ¼ cup sugar

  • 1 large egg

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1¼ cup all purpose flour

  • sprinkles (optional)

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F. degrees.

  2. Cream butter & sugar together hand mixing. Stir in egg and vanilla extract.

  3. Mix in flour.

  4. Fill cookie press fitted with patterned disk. Press cookie dough onto ungreased cookie sheet. Top with sprinkles (optional)

  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until cookies look set.
